Here is an exquisite reproduction featuring the cartography of Robert de Vaugondy, globemaker for Louis XV.

Mounted in a beautiful wood floor stand with bronze meridian, this globe will inspire conversation and add interest to any setting.

Vaugondy globes are produced using copies of the original paper globe gores that are securely stored at the Biblioteque Nationale de France. Special attention is taken to replicate the complex 'gravure' printing process that was used during this time period.
