12" World Globe with Atlas
A complete geographical reference station was born when Cram combined a 12" political globe with a solid wood, cherry stained stand designed to hold a current Rand McNally atlas. Everyone knows that globes are still the best reference for the big geographical picture, but when you need a detailed map, a handy atlas is the best compliment to the globe.
The highly detailed, 12" political globe features subtle raised relief and a lovely antique-ocean color palette. The globe is held in place by a fully calibrated, brass-plated meridian. The meridian holds the globe at the correct 23.5° tilt of the earth, but can also be turned end over end for convenient exploration of the southern hemisphere. Latitude and longitude lines are shown in 15° increments, and the equator, prime meridian, and tropical regions are also delineated.
