 The
Meridian Series combines two distinctive materials to create a work
of art and useful reference tool. The hand welded wrought iron base shown
on the left is an elegant matte black. Artfully hand silk-screened silver
continents, red longitude and latitude markings, and black nomenclature
give the twelve-inch diameter Silver Earthsphere a rich, high-tech
look. Together with the Meridian Base, the unit is a blending of
contemporary, metallic finishes.
Expertly silk-screened
white land masses, opaque black oceans, silver longitude and latitude
markings, and gold nomenclature give the Onyx Earthsphere a formal
look with contemporary design. Paired with the Meridian Base, this model
offers a classically elegant black and white presentation.
The full meridian allows
the sphere to rotate in all directions; north and south, east and west.
Each sphere presents the most up-to-date cartography with countries,
capitals and major cities, bodies of water, latitude and longitude
markings, and more. Overall height of the sphere and base is forty-three
inches. Each comes complete with a signed and dated Certificate of
Authenticity.
