map and its place-names are printed on special material that won't wear off.
Each globe comes with a detailed reference booklet and a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
Globe has a burnished gold-tone semi-meridian, an elegant walnut-finished
wood stand. The electrical cord is routed through the base instead of dangling from the south pole of the globe, making for a much more refined look.
