Parchment colored oceans surround an earth toned palette of continents in this politically current world globe. Over 4000 place name labels are included on this globe and raised relief mountains can be felt all over the sphere.
The Marin globe ships with a top-of-the-line calibrated die-cast brass meridian ring sure to last as long as the globe stand. Meridian has pins to hold the globe at the appropriate 23.5 degrees of tilt that matches the tilt of our planet as it orbits the sun. The stand and meridian are designed to allow the full ball/ring assembly to pivot end over end & to allow the globe to spin and rotate in all directions.
