from Blue Jasper (Lapis). The traditional four-leg stand is plated in 24k Gold
with latitude and longitude lines of thin polished brass. A compass is
set into the base of the stand. Each continent on the globe is inlaid with various
stones. The gemstones are individually cut to exacting, interlocking country shapes,
polished, and set with care and attention to
